Americans Still Skeptical That UFOs Are Aliens

Gallup reports that 49% of Americans attribute all UFO sightings to human activity or natural phenomena, 37% believe at least some are alien spacecraft, and 78% believe the government knows more than it is telling the public.

This is the strongest empirical measure found of the public environment surrounding the 2026 disclosure program, including a ten-point rise since 2019 in belief that the government withholds information.
